It will be the first time for the annual ICORD conference to be held, together with China Rare Disease Summit, in China. With the theme of “Rare Diseases, Global Challenges and China’s Role”, the conference invites academic and research institutions, governments, hospitals, pharmaceutical industries, regulatory agencies, healthcare associations, and patient groups all over the globe. The conference expects more than 700 attendees participating in this year’s event and aims to provide an important platform for communication on rare diseases around the world to facilitate collaboration via knowledge sharing, to foster innovation for rare disease research and development as well as to improve the level of health and well-being of rare disease patients worldwide.
